Brauhaushotel in the hotel park Stadtbrauerei Arnstadt
Situated in an ideal location between Erfurt, Weimar and the Thuringian Forest, the Hotelpark Stadtbrauerei Arnstadt is the perfect starting point for a holiday in the Free State of Thuringia. The complex not only contains the hotel with its 28 modern Superior and Superior Plus rooms, eight spacious Superior studios and 30 traditional brewery rooms but also a spa area with a heated saltwater swimming pool and four saunas. A total of ten multifunctional conference and event rooms are available for business events and celebrations.
When it comes to food and drink, the Brauhaus Restaurant ticks all the boxes: in its winter garden, Braustube and beer garden, guests are served traditional favourite dishes from Thuringian cuisine and seasonal specialities alongside hand-brewed beer from the hotel’s very own brewery, Germany’s oldest wheat beer brewery.

- There are two unmarked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 250 cm x 500 cm).
- The surface quality of the car park is not easy to walk and drive on.
- The path from the car park to the entranceof the hotel and the Brauhaus is 30 m long. It is partially not easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 7,5 % over a distance of 5 m.
- The hotel, the Brauhausan the town hall are steplessly accessible. The sauna area is only accessible via stairs.
- Almost all evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible via elevators. Exceptions: In the Brauhaus the Remembar and the music cellar are only accessible via stairs.
- The elevator cabin in the hotel measures 110 cm x 138 cm. The elevator cabin in the Stadthalle is 110 cm x 135 cm.
- Almost all evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide. Exception: the sauna doors are 63 cm wide.
- The reception desk is at its lowest point 120 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
- There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the Brauhaus (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
- Guided tours for people with walking impairments are offered. A reservation in advance is necessary.
- Mobile or fixed seats are available for people with walking disabilities, which may be used during the guided tour.
Room 307 (double room)
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 118 cm x 200 cm;
left of the bed 110 cm x 150 cm;
right of the bed 165 cm x 150 cm. - The bed is 59 cm high.
- A nursing bed is not available.
- The door opens inwards, but does not affect the manoeuvring spaces in front of the toilet and sink.
- The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
left of the toilet 92 cm x 70 cm and right 32 cm x 70 cm. - There is a grab rail on the left side of the toilet. The grab rail can be flipped-up.
